Measure sacred red land with steps, gain the power of faith with the mission. Learning Four Histories and Striving Forward with Lofty Mission--SIG Four Histories Fitness Walking took place on December 25. All the leaders of SIG, along with over 90 employees from SIG's headquarters, visited historical sites to inherit red genes and feel the fighting spirit.
The walking stretched 3 kilometers. As Yu Beihua, Secretary of the CPC SIG Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors, fired the starting pistol, six teams-All Orange, Pioneers, Ambitions, Dreams, Heroes and Excellence, led by SIG's leaders, started from New Shanghai International Building and passed three revolutionary landmarks--the Memorial Hall of the 2nd CPC National Congress, the former site of the Socialist Youth League in Yuyangli and the former residence of Mao Zedong.
The teams waved red flags, and accomplished missions such as ABC of Four Histories, New Long March and Memories. Every well-designed session that is interesting, informative, teamwork-oriented and competitive allowed participants to draw spiritual strength and search the mission from history, and get motivated. The news sheets handed out on the way offered the participants much little-known knowledge of four histories in interesting forms such as cartoon and illustration.
The participants talked as they walked, searching red memories and feeling the red spirit. All the teams finished the walking within nearly an hour and a half. Ambitions, Heroes, Pioneers and Excellence won the top four places.
Through the red journey, SIG's executives and employees tempered will and built up body, experienced the fighting spirit of revolutionaries and improved the effects of four histories learning. They will overcome hardships and difficulties on their posts, accumulate strength for the innovative strength of SIG and inject new impetus for the high-quality development of SIG.
