On the afternoon of December 5, "Financiers Encounter Entrepreneurs • Suhewan Forum 2019", hosted by the Jing'an District People's Government and the Shanghai Municipal Financial Bureau, took place successfully in Shanghai. The Measures of Jing'an District for Promoting the Open Development of Finance were released at the forum. As an important step to implement the measures, Jing'an awarded the title of Partner for "Global Service Provider-Financial Service Program" to the first 7 companies including Shanghai International Group (SIG) and Guotai Junan Securities. Guan Wei, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of SIG, received the award from Yu Yong, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Jing'an District Committee and Head of Yangpu District.
To build a world top business environment and service system, Jing'an proposed the "Global Service Provider Program" this year, with the aim of gathering and cultivating high-level global service agencies, building a high-end service cluster with the capability of global resource allocation and great influence, and making global service agencies serve the world from Jing'an.
The Measures intend to build the global influence and competitiveness of Jing'an's financial sector and service industry, focus on supporting the agglomeration of diversified financial elements, making finance better serve the real economy and creating favorable environment for financial development, keep improving relevant measures, and promote the high-quality development of Shanghai's financial industry.
