Shanghai Lin-gang Guotai Junan Frontier Sci-tech Fund, initiated by SIG, has recently been set up with a total of 8 billion yuan raised.
As the largest shareholder of Guotai Junan Securities, SIG has performed its responsibility as a state-owned shareholder by supporting the development of the company. Managed by Guotai Junan Innovation Investment Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Guotai Junan Securities, Shanghai Lin-gang Guotai Junan Frontier Sci-tech Fund was initiated by SIG in collaboration with Guotai Junan Securities, the Administrative Committee of Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, China Unicom, Chasing Financial, Shanghai Electric, SIPG and Zhongyuan Yuzi Investment Holding Group.
SIG will continue to enhance its stance, initiatively serve the overall interests, further implement the three major tasks assigned by the central government to Shanghai, and support the development of Lin-gang Special Area of China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone. With a focus on the development of Shanghai's "9+X" strategic emerging industries and leading industries, the seven frontier industrial clusters in Lin-gang Special Area and Dishui Lake Financial Bay, the fund will support enterprises and major sci-tech projects representing the innovation strength of China and demonstrating the innovation potential of China.
