Recently Shanghai International Fortune Center (SIFC) under SIG has achieved LEED Gold rating. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is an international authoritative green building certification system. Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), it is one of the most comprehensive and influential international assessment standards for the environmental friendliness of buildings, green buildings and building sustainability. It is known as the "Oscar" for Green Buildings.
As the first 5A Grade A office project completed in "Golden Central Ring Development Zone" during the "Fourteenth Five-Year" period, inspired by the concept of green development, the SIFC project has applied water saving appliances, as well as advanced technologies such as rainwater recycling, illumination time adjustment, vegetation coverage and automatic lighting control, to achieve energy conservation and environmental protection in fields such as project water use, energy conservation and lighting.
