On January 10, CVInfo released the list of Best State-owned Investment Institutions for the first time. GP Capital was selected into the 2022 list of CVInfo Top 100 State-owned Investment Institutions.
The list targets more than 600 state-owned investment institutions in China. Based on data recorded between January 1, 2021 and June 30, 2022, the scale of funds under management, direct investment and exit, and other evaluation indicators of state-owned investment institutions, CVInfo organized more than 30,000 investment & exit data entries and other relevant data, evaluated the candidate institutions according to innovation contributions, managerial share ownership, social fundraising and other indicators, and selected eligible institutions into the list by score after the primary selection, information verification and ranking.
The list defines managers with state capital background as private equity fund managers whose state capital shareholders are in the status of absolute controller, relative controller or single majority shareholder in management institutions and have significant influence on their management and investment decisions, as well as some private equity fund managers with stakes in state capital that have been involved in market-oriented reforms.
